3rd Australian HR Technology Report Released!

Navigo Research 3rd Australian HR Technology Report is now available!

Well overdue but we hope well worth the wait, we’ve just released our third survey results looking at HR Technology in Australia.

The report contains 60 pages of commentary and statistics about who is using which vendors, their satisfaction with the solutions and future spending over the next twelve months.

This year we’ve received valid responses from more than 240 Australian and New Zealand HR departments representing more than 760,000 employees.

Some of our key findings include:

  • Nearly 60% of organisations have been running the same payroll system for more than 5 years.
  • Operational efficiency is the main motivator behind improving HR systems.
  • HR department’s employ 1 HR person for every 94 employees and 1 HR technology resource for every 1,264 employees.
  • 22% of organisations are currently using social recruiting tools.
  • Only 5% use mobile technology but 22% are planning to use.

While there are several very good international reports, such as The Cedar Crestone’s HR Systems Survey, we still see this as the only locally produced view on the state of the HR Technology market in Australia and New Zealand.
